…Manifestation, Evolution, Ascension…
I chose to introduce myself with a thought I had the other day, contemplating a logical progression of existence through its material state of being. It may have very much become an analogy that permeates a great deal of cycles observable in life within the physical realm.
Where are we at in the great cycle of becoming? Why do we act the way we do and what truly has been, what might come next?
Imagine a universe right before physical manifestation. Consciousness has been conceived and established. As it is being given physical manifestation, it finds itself in the unknown, only remembering what it had been and perfectly exposed to whole new imperative; material existence in a material world.
It's longing is to be home again, to find itself as what it had been until then. But now it has to focus on this new challenge and abandon its former self.
Faced with this challenge it becomes focused entirely on learning to understand physicality, how to live, how to survive. It has to master the basics of material existence and becomes progressively obsessed with it. New generations are being driven by the urges of their ancestors to reign in this new domain.
Until eventually consciousness masters the material world. It then can begin to discover its own will, its own awareness of itself beyond pure survival, yet, within the realm of matter.
Increasingly it becomes self-conscious again and the need to be alert to material necessities decreases. It can begin to wonder and reconnect to its origin. As it has learned to engage its own adaptivity, it became master not just about the transformation of matter around it, but about self-transformation.
Once all the lessons have been learned and all the need within the material world has been transcended, it no longer requires the associated toils. Its own efforts to ascend again become conscious and it is that consciousness itself which signalizes the completion of the cycle it had been intended for. That which spawned it, receives it, crystallized as pathway of perfect understanding and restructured in all its complexity as one out of many out of one.
Summary: Purity exposed to physicality becomes materialistic out of necessity until such necessity ceases and skill surpasses materialism until matter has served its purpose and ascension becomes the natural departure from physical existence in fulfillment.
In spiritual circles, I think, people often think of consciousness IN matter, but as part of the above thought I wonder, if it was not more appropriate to think of consciousness AS matter- that we find ourselves not trapped within a vestment, but that this vestment in this present state represents us in its completeness. Only as we transform ourselves through true self-actualization, we may evolve beyond a state of matter that finds its description outside of the aid of form. Evident by the shear fact of physical formation and eventual destruction again, there is no true self-actualization within material existence, but only a milestone on our path to the beyond.
Ah!
Hi Taron! I appreciate your use of "becoming.' As soon as we become caught up in the material we also become caught up in "consructs" and the form of that which should be formless. We are all to a point wearing a vestment, a human form yet still this quote comes to mind …
"And how shall you rise beyond your days and nights unless you break the chains which you at the dawn of your undertanding have fastened around your noon hour?"
Kahlil Gibran
Dear ADMoon,
Dear ADMoon,
on the contrary, I'm suggesting that we should embrace each phase we are in as the current mode for performing our duty. Only through such embrace we become fully aware of what we are. Within us we carry the inclinations that lead us to fulfillment, but all one truly needs to do- aside from living- is for the good of the whole of us, or simply others. In doing so we become increasingly aware that we are all the means of One and the various manifestations of One, progressing through various stages of becoming.
I'm neither luciferian nor satanistic, both of which lead astray from the embrace of the current state with the understanding of a required transformation. We- and life as a whole- are transitory, ever changing, ever evolving until it is no more, but becomes everything, which eventually is but the realized structure of the One. At least this is what I come to imagine through all my contemplations. I just know for sure that nothing stays the way it is, simply because nothing would Be, if it was in some final state of perfection.
We are able to be manifested in physicality by the means of desire, yet, desire will also be the means for us to actualize the next form of existence. When this time has come around we will know and we will not wonder. In some ways I expect us collectively to realize how we hold each other back with the current kind of system on Earh, coercive, enforced by prohibition, progress-prohibiting through a paradigm of materialistic dominion far beyond sound reasoning.
Each state anything is in represents its entirety at such time, but it is not meant to stay that way, which is why we have physical mortality, for example. You "occupy your body", which is not you, nor has it ever been you, or will ever be you in its individual components, considering that material is consumed by it, absorbed by it, transformed within it and expelled again, even being born and dying every single day, but you are represented by it and function through it. It is combined matter into its shape for the means of being you in your complete state at this time so that you can act in this complex puzzle we recognize as physical reality. Without it you would not be you, but only a piece of the superior soul, individualized for the sake of becoming, not for the sake of being. Nothing is truly for the sake of being until it all is One again. Hmmmm…I sure hope I don't sound a bit silly by now?!
Therefore I believe that we and by some stretch all of matter is actually consciousness manifested, even if only for the time being. I say this to emphasize the idea that there is no separation between matter and consciousness, except that the "new" challenges of being materialized were so demanding that we began to indentify with only that, our five physical senses appear as such a requirement, that we can't free ourselves from them enough to engage all other senses of ours that go beyond the recognition of matter alone. And that's just an example. Unconsciously we constantly respond to these other (higher) senses, even interact without acknowledging them. We would not recognize or care about the stunning beauty of the material realm, if it wasn't for these "extra" senses. Without sharing, for example, we could never fully enjoy anything. Yet, if we open up the gates of our extra senses through love and appreciation, we always share each moment with everyone and everything that we love, whether it is present or not.
People who are too fixated on materialism, too preoccupied with the mundane by means of fear and other insecurities, wanting to hold on thereby trapping themselves within a body that becomes a hull for the Self rather than a completion of the Self, tend to close those extra senses. Too clarify, the means by which our senses function are also our means of communication. The mouth with which we taste, we speak with. The eyes with which we see reveal strong parts of our thoughts and communicate direction and reaction. When we smell something, what we do with our nose communicates quite clearly and our entire body, covered with our sense of touch is one of our most expressive means for communication. Don't know what to make up in regards to the ears, but I leave that up to you, hehe. Very subtle, I'm afraid, haha. Anyway, those extra senses, they too are reception and broadcast medium. This is because we are but beings within the universal AEther, operating seemingly and deliberately at the same time. What we do ripples through to all of us and can be addressed and received to fulfill certain functions by, from and to anybody. We "just" need to open up to it. Love consciously, share consciously, act consciously, enjoy consciously and you expand your awareness far beyond the visible definitions of being alone, but certainly including them.
I write out of true happiness and this happiness is rooted in life as it is and the bright light ahead that shines back at us to illuminate now the beauty and privilege we experience, even in its most challenging moments. I am you with love and gratefully. As I wish to feel you I am content in knowing that my portion of time and space is witnessed by all of life when it keeps moving, rolling through the processes ahead, each with its own grandeur and silly shame but firmly permeated by love as ever present force.
LOGOS, that's a nice quote, thank you! You see, I tried to distance myself today from the semantic choice of "Vestment" to term our present condition. Regardless of how adequate this analogy may be in many a context, it invites a certain sense of redundancy, which would severely undermine the purpose we have to fulfill at this time. Not one of us can lay down this "vestment" in hopes to ascend to some higher state. Nor will we lay down our bodies for such purpose. We only ever leave behind our past, not what defines our now and likewise we will not lose our vestments, but receive or attain what ever defines our now then.
Thanks, ADMoon! My website
Thanks, ADMoon! My website shows some of my digital artwork and music as well as software I have developed and released. But with the exception of my music, which has some newer songs of mine, most of it is fairly old by now. Especially the 3d experiments are partly from the last millenium, yet, laziness of mine preserves the diary it became.
As for the ears, the challenge was to figure out how we communicate outwards with them, haha. How "artificial" electromagnatic radiation at lower bands interacts with us is probably a very fascinating topic, too, though.
That reminds me of another sketch I wanted to write about light, too. Esoterically speaking Light becomes a much more tangible medium beyond visibilty and heat than we normally associate with it.
Thanks, again!
