Ok. I admit it. Sometimes I can get a little punchy about things.
"Despite the enormous quantity of books, its amazing how little people read. But if one reads profitably, one would realize how much stupid stuff the vulgar herd is content to swallow every day."

INSANE WORDS
I was standing with my paper there, minding my own news
When an evangelical woman wanted to talk demon possession views
She said that some folks are worse than most, they invite the demons with glee
So I asked if she could tell me the difference of inviting Jesus on your knees
She said the Christian spirit was "Holy", it made the difference under the Sun
One way holiness can work, its like the smell of a smoking gun
That's when the talk turned sour she claimed the Bible said it was so
Oh Hell No.
She was talking Insane Words
There's no way to debate it
They're just Insane Words
Nothing more than common shit
Insane Words
Getting more insane each day
Insane Words
Disagree and they blow you away
Might as well tattoo it straight across their heart
That its just Insane Words.
Modern Thelema is a whole new crowd sounding like an age old con
Preaching about a brand new God that they've named their "Babalon"
Therion is now what you want it to be, I remember when it meant Crowley
They've watered it down so it has no taste like putting ice in your own whiskey
The Libers have been twisted so you can't eat Cake with Blood
They've forgotten that Horus flies in the face of Jesus and Mohammud.
Then they have the gall to claim the Book of the Law says so
Oh Hell No.
They're talking Insane Words
There's no way to debate it
They're just Insane Words
Nothing more than common shit
Insane Words
Getting more insane each day
Insane Words
Disagree and they blow you away
Might as well tattoo it straight across their heart
That its just Insane Words.
The Ascended Masters of Jesus and Confusius are agreed that women must submit
So they say the "Goddess is longer needed, She should take a nice long trip"
You can take your "Great White Brotherhood" and shove it you know where
Cause the Huntress is fired up, and She's amoured up, and She's out here hunting bear.
Watch out.
Just talking Insane Words
There's no way to debate it
They're just Insane Words
Nothing more than common shit
Insane Words
Getting more insane each day
Insane Words
Disagree and they blow you away
Might as well tattoo it straight across their heart
That its just Insane Words.

Insane is right!
I would think with your evangelical background you would take pity on someone who uses "for the bible tells me so" as their argument. While I don't agree with this woman's idea of piety. I have to say that I don't see any valid points in this insanity argument. Thelema in some areas is respectable but it's association with a heroin addict who believed he was the anti-christ is not what made it respectable.
The world is progressing in so many ways and it seems that your bitterness has made you blind. Jesus knew the goddess was always with him. In Christianity she is called Shekinah aka the holy spirit. The Holy Spirit is present everywhere just like the the sun(son) and the "father". I would think you of all people would see the similarities between paganism and christianity and feel sorry for those who do not see what is right in front of them.
I have to say that looking deeply into this blog the most insane words in it are:
"Cause the Huntress is fired up, and She's amoured up, and She's out here hunting bear.
Watch out."
Whatever name you call the Goddess she is meant to destroy our false beliefs, when you get rid of the false dogma that is so popular in evangelical christianity you see that Shekinah does this and in the end brings peace to our hearts and souls. She is Gaia, The Mother and the slap on the wrist that makes us better people.
I can only pray and teach regarding these matters in order to promote change.
Have a blessed day
Adonis
Hi Adonis
Hmmm. One of the things that pissed off Emperor Constantine of Rome was when the Druids fought his Christian army……in the nude. Was it their nakedness that bothered him? No. You see, because the Druids weren't weighed down by armor, they were faster. And that speed was helping them win against Constantine's army. Until he killed them off with sheer numbers.
Where do people get the idea that all Pagans are about rainbows and bunnies? That we have to bow to gods we don't believe in, just because of some preconceived, incorrect notion that we have to be passive? Many Pagan Gods/Goddesses were far from passive themselves. So why should all Pagans be that way?
Next year (2014) marks the 70th anniversary of the Allies defeating the Nazis. Today, on an international level, many countries hunt down, prosecute and inprison modern Nazis. Why? Because they knew the crimes committed by Hitler and his goons before they signed on as Nazis. And they did it anyway. Over the 600 years that the Christian church tortured and murdered Pagans and those in other beliefs, the church (both catholic and protestant) killed more people than the Nazis. Modern Chrisitians knew this before they signed on to become Christian themselves. And they did it anyway. Is this what I am to feel pity for? People that are walking around free when – like the Nazis – they should face trial.
You are right about the world changing though. It is. The question is: Will the way the world changes have a place for Christianity? To say I'm the only one who feels the way my blog describes would be foolish. But opinions do vary Adonis. And you have a right to yours.. As I do to mine. In the end, tha's is what my own warrior spirit would fight for. Your right to your opinion and belief. Even if I choose to disagree with it myself.
Thanks for the dissenting opinion Adonis. Its in dissention that things like freedom are truly heard.
Touche…..but no.
First of all thank you for the history lesson. Nothing Like a naked army to make a gay guy distracted but I will keep my thoughts on that to myself.
Secondly there is a fine line between a fluffy bunny pagan and a pagan who participates in "group think".
Whether it be a Nazi or a Neo Nazi you are talking about 2 groups that run on hate as fuel. And I can not validate the rest of your arguement either. Every single religious group, faith, race etc. has suffered some sort of horrible persecution. If we ran off the notion you present we would have a never ending war.
The pity I speak of is the pity any person with esoteric knowledge has for the lay person who is ignorant of where their own beliefs come from. With the way the world is progressing (to some slowly but surely while others are experiencing whip lash) I do in fact believe there will be room for christianity. Just like I believe there will be room for the pagan, jew and muslim.
Our social environment is changing rapidly and there are those who will be left behind as always but there is a place for everyone including those who wish to dwell and live in the past.
Your friend Adonis
Hi Adonis.
You missed the most important point in my last reply my friend. I don't need your validation. Or permission. Or agreement. Whatever word you wish to use for it. We are allowed to disagree and still keep it peaceful.
My problem is with those (be they individuals or organizations) that would try to force others into a place of slavery. Or use manipulation to remove the free will of another. Out of all the beliefs out there Christianity has shown the most frequent pattern for this sort of behavior.
If I see such things happening, I can and will open my mouth and say something. To do less would be to betray the way I am, and was made to be. If you don't agree with what I say, you don't have to. That is also your right.
Sorry. Adonis. You're talking to a person that won't give in on this particular topic.
History Lesson
I don’t know why it is that so many people seem to think that all Christians are Roman Catholic. They are not. My ancestors were French Huguenots and were persecuted by the Roman Catholic Church as well. In August of 1572, more than 5,000 Huguenots were slaughtered in Paris and the surrounding areas. The carnage went on for several weeks until most every French Protestant leader was dead. They did not stop with just killing the male leaders, but also killed their families including woman and children. Among the slain were the philosopher Petrus Ramus, and in Lyon the composer Claude Goudimel. Anyone who refused to pledge allegiance and convert to Catholicism was rounded up and murdered…Some estimates of the death total reach as high as 30,000 souls. The Saint Bartholomew’s Day Massacre goes down in history as one of the bloodiest actions ever taken by the Church of Rome. It is estimated that 500,000 Huguenots fled France after this horrific blood bath. Some fled to Scotland, some the Netherlands, and some to the 13 original colonies of the United States. This is where my ancestors came from. They landed and settled in the area near Boston, Mass and then traveled to North Carolina. They came here to escape the Iron Hand of the Roman Catholic Church, and to be able to worship in their own way without the fear of persecution.
I was raised as a Baptist, and my father was a Baptist minister. We were taught the foundations of our faith and studied the scriptures. But because my father was a historian, we were also taught who we were and where we came from. Because our ancestors had been persecuted, we were also taught tolerance and respect for our fellow man, regardless of their religious beliefs. We were encouraged to study other religions and were allowed to attend churches of other faiths so that we would have a better understanding of the views of others. I have been told many times that my father was “ahead of his time” and perhaps he was. He taught us to think for ourselves and to question anything that did not “feel” true. He had a vast library of history and religious reference books and we quickly learned to find out own answers in regards to Biblical discussions. In other words, we were taught to be anything EXCEPT be narrow minded.
I am a Christian and I accept and respect everyone on this site, regardless of what Gods or Goddesses you may worship. I do not judge any of you for what you choose to practice and I certainly would never judge anyone for whatever your ancestors may have done in the past. None of us can change the past. We can learn from it, however, and try to make the future a place of enlightenment and tolerance. This cannot be accomplished from a spirit of hate or resentment. It can only be accomplished through love and understanding. This is what I strive to do each day. All I ask is to be afforded the same respect that I give to each and every one of you. Don’t judge me by a label or by the name of my religion. Judge me by my heart and my actions, for in the grand scheme of things, that is all that really matters.
Hi Bo.
Actually I wasn't confusing catholic with christian at all. A lot of christians like to try to absolve themselves by claiming it was all catholic doing. But the fact is that the Puritans were not catholic. It was christians, not catholic, that tortured and hung withces in Salem USA. And it was modern christians that tortured, burned, and murdered modern withces in Kenya, Africa, form 2000-2008. (Yes, that recent) Many christians don't know of it yet, because their churches don't want the people knowing what they are doing there. So no, I wasn't confusing anything. Sorry.
As for the Hugenots, I knew of that slaughter myself. I didn't know the site had a family member involved, but I knew.
The way your father raised you made you very different Bo. You are not the norm. Most Baptist Fundamentalists are among the worst (Pentecostals as well). But it doesn't sound like your father raised you or your siblings as Fundamentalists. This is why many on the site tend to accept you for your peaceful nature. But you need to understand Bo. Among Christians…..you are unique……not normal.
As the saying goes.
"Fundamentalism + weapons = terrorism."
Sorry about your family that were among the Hugenots.
