Daily Theme: URUZ is known as the Rune of STRENGTH. This can be a demanding creative time for which you will have to adapt. Keep your principles firm. You have outgrown your current form of ‘being’ and must dispense that form to free new energy into your new form. Since self-change is never coerced, you are always free to resist life changes but be mindful that what awaits is usually greater then what you are currently experiencing. In some cases opportunity may come disguised as a loss. It can involve someone of something to which you have grown attached and through which you are living out a part of your life. This bond must be severed so you can retrieve the part of ‘you’ that is entangled in it so you can move forward to better things. Uruz is calling you to look and see if there is something you need to sacrifice in order to move forward. What is it in your life that is holding you back from achieving that which you desire the most? Uruz reminds us that through sacrifice we can move into a state of being far better than we had imagined at the time the sacrifice was made. It should be realized that the sacrifice called from by Uruz need not be required of you. It may be that you are witness to, or part of the path that allows another to reach their goals through sacrifice. Sacrifice talks of diligence and hard work. Sacrifice talks of loss and lack of control. Here the sacrifice that Uruz requires may be to let go and let the flow of the energy of the universe show you that life does find a way. But, in order to find a way, life makes changes to adapt and capitalize on each niche. Uruz is asking you if you are in the right niche. Is it time for you to leave the safety of your old ways to embark on a new, more exciting future?

Only you know what that is. Push out from the inner you. Stop moaning and bitching. Change what can be changed, work with what cannot. What do you want to learn? What do you want to share? What do you want in your spiritual practices? When and how do you connect with your others? Seek the balance even if you have been leaning heavily in one direction for a while. Care for your body as well as your mind and spirit. Let your inner self express itself. As the expression goes, ‘dance as if no one was looking’. Learn to read signs and omens in nature. There is magic within them. There is magic within you. Use it.

Numerical Connotations

What’s in a number? The Ancients believed numbers were universally connected. Scientifically The universe is described by fundamental constants and numbers. The number for the Universe is 42. What unlocks the key to the Universe? According to Nikola Tesla, 3, 6, and 9 unlock the secrets of the Universe. He believed these digits were sacred and could unlock the mysteries of existence itself.

Numbers found their way into the meanings of old texts and even the Bible. Everyone and everything have a number or numbers associated with their lives as can be discovered through Gematria and/or Numerology in contemporary times. There isn’t a single universally agreed-upon “most divine number,” as different cultures, religions, and belief systems ascribe varying degrees of significance to different numbers. However, some numbers, like 7, 108, and 18, are often associated with divinity or sacredness in various traditions. An intriguing aspect of the number 8 is its deep connection to karma—the universal law of cause and effect. In numerology, 8 is often seen as the number of karmic justices, where actions (good or bad) come back to you in equal measure.

Did you know that many believe the number of God is 7? In shamanism and Native American spirituality, the number 4 is considered sacred, representing the four directions, seasons, elements, and stages of spiritual evolution.
