Numerical Connotations

What’s in a number? The Ancients believed numbers were universally connected. Scientifically The universe is described by fundamental constants and numbers. The number for the Universe is 42. What unlocks the key to the Universe? According to Nikola Tesla, 3, 6, and 9 unlock the secrets of the Universe. He believed these digits were sacred and could unlock the mysteries of existence itself.

Numbers found their way into the meanings of old texts and even the Bible. Everyone and everything have a number or numbers associated with their lives as can be discovered through Gematria and/or Numerology in contemporary times. There isn’t a single universally agreed-upon “most divine number,” as different cultures, religions, and belief systems ascribe varying degrees of significance to different numbers. However, some numbers, like 7, 108, and 18, are often associated with divinity or sacredness in various traditions. An intriguing aspect of the number 8 is its deep connection to karma—the universal law of cause and effect. In numerology, 8 is often seen as the number of karmic justices, where actions (good or bad) come back to you in equal measure.

In shamanism and Native American spirituality, the number 4 is considered sacred, representing the four directions, seasons, elements, and stages of spiritual evolution. Certain number sequences, like 111, are seen as messages from the spiritual realm, signifying alignment and the connection between the physical and spiritual realms The number 108 is considered sacred in Dharmic religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.
