Reasons For Unsuccessful Removals/ Exorcism

It happens. Sometimes spirit/demon/attachment removal doesn't work. Why? Here is what some paranormal investigators say on the topic.

1. Client is Not Ready

A client may want to be free & think they are ready, but to think you are ready & to know you are ready are two very different things.

2. Withholding Information

It’s important for a client to not only to be honest with themselves, but it is especially important for them to be honest with us. We are not here to judge, only to help.

By withholding information we can not properly prepare or treat the client & we will be unable to reach the root problem which allowed the entity a way in.

3. Afraid of Change

On a subconscious level they are actually more afraid of being free than living with the attached entity. They have adapted & it has become a way of life.

Being free would mean they have to accept they are no longer the person they once were.

It would require them to rediscover who they are now (without the attachment).

It would require them to rebuild their world because their old beliefs & perceptions no longer fit.

This can be very frightening & overwhelming to some.

4. Attached to the Attachment

Yes, it happens! Some people get emotionally attached to their attachments.

They usual don’t realize it until the removal process begins. They will suddenly begin to experience intense emotions, as though they are experiencing a great lost.

A strong emotional bond has developed between the person & their attachment, even if the spirit is abusive.

Sometimes the client is just as attached to the spirit, as it is to them.

5. Addicted to the Situation

Believe it or not, there are people that are addicted to their situation; even though they are suffering terribly it fills some void within them.

Whether it’s conscious or subconscious, they enjoy the attention they get from the people helping them; it makes them feel important & special & it makes their life more interesting.

6. False Beliefs

These are beliefs that are simply not true. The entity can only amplify the false beliefs that are already a part of a person’s belief system, whether you are aware of them or not.

Ex: I am a horrible person. I am not worthy. God is punishing me. I am a victim. I have had bad luck all my life. Nobody loves me. I am not strong enough to get rid of it.

They can also be beliefs that are negative in nature.

Ex: If the client is prejudiced against a race of people. They believe their religion is the only right religion.  They believe that they are better than everyone else.

False beliefs provide an anchor for entities; as long as those beliefs exist, entities have something to latch on to.

7. Client’s history: Drug addiction, alcohol abuse, & sexual addictions.

Without proper treatment, the underlining source of the problem is still there & provides a way in & an anchor for entities.

8. Victim of Abuse

  • Mental abuse
  • Emotional abuse
  • Physical abuse
  • Sexual abuse

Without proper treatment, these can be open doors for entities to come in.

9. The client is getting what they deserve

This may seem harsh, but let”s face it, there are people out there that are not nice & in some cases have done horrible things to others & in some cases refuse to own up to it.

It’s time to right the wrongs!

10. Untreated Trauma (including PTSD)

11. Untreated Physical Health Issues

12. Untreated Mental Health issues

It’s important to receive professional treatment for 8-10; without treatment these are open doors. for entities to come in.

Treating the spiritual aspect alone is not enough; those doors have to be closed, & the anchors have to be removed in order to be truly successful.
