So deeply engraved the soul lies in our mind that few consider asking what is a soul ? But maintain the strong relation to it passed down the generations, depicting that everybody has one that is directly linked to the spiritual world. Science contradicts the belief that the soul exists but this has not deterred people from following customs and beliefs that maintain the existence of the soul.
So what is a soul and why is it important to believers? The soul is a mystical part of our bodies that comes out after death and moves on to the spiritual would after death.
It is not physical and cannot be seen and has been associated by all religions as the only part of a person them moves on to the spiritual world after death. This coincidental lack of physical appearance has lead many religions to associate the soul to follower’s discipline, and respect of rules made by the religion.
Beliefs that the soul is a representation of a person after death has been followed for millennia ever since the human evolved to reason and alter his surroundings. The curiosity and fear of death sparked the religious leaders of the time to involve spirit to calm people and maintain a code of conduct among the masses.
God is directly linked to the soul and after death the soul is destined to meet God concerning deeds done during the person’s life thus determining whether he will proceed of get punished.out after death and moves on to the spiritual would after death.

Different cultured and religions follow different forms of reward or discipline the soul on judgment day but all have one aspect in common either getting favored for good deeds resulting in a good afterlife or punishment for mistakes made during ones wife. The form of reward or punishment then varies depending on each cultured belief.
Christianity and Islam: believe that the soul will be rewarded by proceeding to heaven if the person committed good deeds while alive and respected religious laws and beliefs. Heaven is a place that has no kind of stress and one is free to enjoy in the garden that god provides.For a person that disobeyed religious rules one would be sent to hell were he would labor for the devils in inhospitable conditions that man dreads.
Hinduism: Hinduism believes in re-incarnation of life thus meaning that a person must be reborn time and time again, on the same world. If a person committed good deeds as a human on the world he would be re- incarnation in the form of a human being.
If turn if the person made bad deeds than be would reincarnate in form of a different animal and would require to pass through all life forms before returning to being a human.
These examples clearly illustrate the role of the soul towards maintain law and order, there may be no scientific explanation to what is a soul but surely this is something that 99% of the people disagree since there must be a form of hope for what happens after death rather than expecting just LIGHTS OUT.
