In some growing metaphysical circles, people are litterally being told that they are God.
According to Alan Watts :
HATE TO TELL YOU BUT:
No one is God, that is misinformation. The Soul is merely Godlike and remains separate from the Absolute. Despite that separation, It (Soul) is constantly in communication with the Godhead. It appears that Alan Watts may have never actually been self realized at all. One who has that experience KNOWS that they are not God, and that even if every individual Soul were combined, that Entity would still not be even 1/10th of God. - Shabda
