Daily Theme: URUZ is known as the Rune of STRENGTH. This can be a demanding creative time for which you will have to adapt. Keep your principles firm. You have outgrown your current form of 'being' and must dispense that form to free new energy into your new form. Since self-change is never coerced, you are always free to resist life changes but be mindful that what awaits is usually greater then what you are currently experiencing. In some cases opportunity may come disguised as a loss. It can involve someone of something to which you have grown attached and through which you are living out a part of your life. This bond must be severed so you can retrieve the part of 'you' that is entangled in it so you can move forward to better things. Uruz is calling you to look and see if there is something you need to sacrifice in order to move forward. What is it in your life that is holding you back from achieving that which you desire the most? Uruz reminds us that through sacrifice we can move into a state of being far better than we had imagined at the time the sacrifice was made. It should be realized that the sacrifice called from by Uruz need not be required of you. It may be that you are witness to, or part of the path that allows another to reach their goals through sacrifice. Sacrifice talks of diligence and hard work. Sacrifice talks of loss and lack of control. Here the sacrifice that Uruz requires may be to let go and let the flow of the energy of the universe show you that life does find a way. But, in order to find a way, life makes changes to adapt and capitalize on each niche. Uruz is asking you if you are in the right niche. Is it time for you to leave the safety of your old ways to embark on a new, more exciting future?

Today, crystal practitioners and advocates should work with Carnelian (stability, grounding, courage, endurance, energy, leadership, and motivation).

LUNAR ASPECTS FOR RIGHT ACTION: Be decisive today and use instinctive leadership especially to clear up any communication issues. New creative ideas should be easily expressed and accepted by others. Keep business dealings above board at all times.

For some every day is laced with discord and strife and for most it seems the world is spinning out of control. People are shutting down more and more. Hating one another because of political differences or belief systems runs rampant and it doesn't look as though it will be going away soon. These are the times to remember who you really are and pull yourself up by the bootstraps and without sounding cliche clean your house with a swift broom. Putting yourself in good order is the first step in fighting and not running. There are None Noble Virtues known to the Vikings - people who never gave up or backed down. Applying these to daily life - your life - can help you stand in adverse times. It is time to do the work.
