Shamanic Trance Dance has evolved from the ancient wisdom and practises of our ancestors, practicing developed pioneering techniques that are accessible to the modern world.
Techniques include:
- Sound
- Intention
- Bandana / blindfold
- Breath of Fire
- Movement / dance
This sacred dance allows us to awaken from the trance, when the flickering images of life causes us to fall into a deep slumber, causing us to forget who we are and the reason why we were born.
If we understand that the spirit of all life forms are intrinsically connected, we may begin to understand that we can look within to feel and know the answers to our life questions. The destination of the inner journey is to enter the sacred ‘Presence’ wherein exists all things: ideas, creativity, answers, past, present and future, in shamanic terms it is called the ‘looking within place’ and dwells inside of us. Here it is possible to feel what is the truth for your life and empowers you to navigate and make decisions that are in perfect harmony with your true self.
Sacred Shamanic Trance Dance opens the door within that reawakens your heart and sets you free.
The movement / dance aspect for the journey activates and energises the physical cells in our bodies, some of which carry memory of all that has ever been, therefore we directly tap into our innate body wisdom, which in turn gives greater power and authenticity to the journey.
The music has been specially formulated for this kind of soul journey, filled with dynamic percussive rhythms and healing sounds, with added live percussion to enhance the senses and give an organic feeling of movement within the room.
Though there are many spiritual paths that lead to the same destination, Shamanic Trance Dance allows even inexperienced searchers the opportunity to reconnect with themselves swiftly. These techniques offer a simple and effective method that can provide access for adults of any age regardless of culture, background and experience, in an age when so many are searching for greater meaning.
In a world of growing crisis, many agree that it has never been more important to re-establish our connection to our soul, each other and ourselves.
