The essence of this Rune also concerns one's connection to the Divine and one's sense of charity and helping others. Gebo may be asking you to give to someone who is truly in need at this time. Conversely, if it is your situation that is in need of assistance, help may be on the way. Gebo reminds us that if we do our part and remain connected to the flow, the cosmos joins us in ourselves and our partnerships, strengthening the one to solidify the other.

Hating one another because of political differences or belief systems runs rampant and it doesn't look as though it will be going away soon. These are the times to remember who you really are and pull yourself up by the bootstraps and without sounding cliche clean your house with a swift broom. Putting yourself in good order is the first step in fighting and not running. There are None Noble Virtues known to the Vikings - people who never gave up or backed down. Applying these to daily life - your life - can help you stand in adverse times. It is time to do the work.
