Daily Theme: LAGUZ is known as the Rune of FLOW. This is a very alchemical Rune that speaks of the transformation of the Self. Today is for reorganizing and realigning all facets of life and the SELF. Immerse yourself in living without having to analyze every little thing. Success lies in your being able to tap into your intuitive side for the answers you really need. Just go with the flow however, going with the flow also includes not going too fast. If you outstrip the current you are moving too fast, not seeing all that is about you. Your forceful intent for movement negates the flow. Don’t negate the flow of the energy of the Universe in your life. Connect with the energies around you and use their flow to your advantage. Far distance travel is sometimes connected to this Rune. If so, be sure to absorb the opportunities connected to a new environment.

Today, crystal practitioners and advocates should work with all forms of Pearl (enhances personal integrity, brings truth forward, promotes faith).

There is an old Viking saying: “It is better to stand and fight. If you run, you'll only die tired.” It seems in these times people are having a very hard time coping with life more than usual. For some every day is laced with discord and strife and for most it seems the world is spinning out of control. People are shutting down more and more. Hating one another because of political differences or belief systems runs rampant and it doesn't look as though it will be going away soon. These are the times to remember who you really are and pull yourself up by the bootstraps and without sounding cliche clean your house with a swift broom. Putting yourself in good order is the first step in fighting and not running. There are None Noble Virtues known to the Vikings - people who never gave up or backed down. Applying these to daily life - your life - can help you stand in adverse times. It is time to do the work.

Magia Naturalis (natural magic) is the main work of the Neapolitan scholar Giambattista Della Porta, first published in 1558 in four books and then in 1586 in twenty books. It is the compilation of fantastic phenomena and beliefs he collected during his life and that he has tried to wrest from the divinatory magic by giving them a naturalistic justification or by legitimizing them by classic literary references. The first edition of Magia Naturalis dates from 1558 in Naples (then Antwerp in 1560), while Della Porta was only twenty-three years old. From an early age, with the help of his preceptors, he hunts for surprising, wonderful, and even miraculous facts, to review them in order to tear them away from popular superstition and put them back to their proper place within the natural philosophy.
