The purpose of this group is to explore the life and teachings of Jesus Christ- the basis of the Christian Faith. We will use references from The Holy Bible, The Gnostic Bible, and other Sacred Text. We will also include new research and discoveries into the "historical" Jesus, and the political and economic climate of the day and how they may have influenced His teachings. The focus will not be on the differences in the various denominations or sects of Christianity, but rather on the common thread that runs through them and through many other major religions in the world today.
