Symbols, our invention of them and our understanding of them transcend the barrier of written language and are at the heart of our existence as human beings. A symbol is an object that represents, stands for, or suggests an idea, visual image, belief, action, or material entity. Symbols take the form of words, sounds, gestures, or visual images and are used to convey ideas and beliefs. We could say that all symbols by their very nature are secrets of one sort or another. This group will try to unravel a few of those secrets.
