A bit of fun!  When a detective tries to find out what happened to his client, he finds himself stuck between; deranged cultists, corrupt cops, and a monster that wants to devour the world.

An observation - is there an Ovisvelli/ Cthulu connection? ...

When Joe (the private investigator) takes on the case of investigating what happened to Gloria, he never thought that this case would turn out to be so weird.  Ovesvelli, the demonic entity/alien is going to be unleashed and bring hell with it, will Joe be able to stop this from happening as the corrupt cops try to actually make it happen.

Cthulhu is an elder god created by H.P. Lovecraft , who makes his first appearance in the 1926 short story The Call of Cthulhu . It is one of the central Great Old Ones of the Cthulhu Mythos, and is often cited for the extreme descriptions given of its hideous appearance, its gargantuan size, and the abject terror that it evokes ... Cthulhu is described by some of these cultists as the "great priest" of "the Great Old Ones who lived ages before there were any men, and who came to the young world out of the sky ... Cthulhu has served as direct inspiration for many modern artists and sculptors. Prominent artists that produced renderings of this creature include, but are not limited to, Paul Carrick, Stephen Hickman, Kevin Evans, Dave Carson, Francois Launet and Ursula Vernon. Multiple sculptural depictions of Cthulhu exist, one of the most noteworthy being Stephen Hickman's Cthulhu Statue which has been featured in the Spectrum annual and is exhibited in display cabinets in the John Hay Library of Brown University of Providence. - http://lovecraft.wikia.com/wiki/Cthulhu

H. P. Lovecraft describes the Cthulhu as "A monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind."Cthulhu has been described as a mix between a giant human, an octopus,  and dragon and is depicted as being hundreds of meters tall, with human-looking arms and legs and a pair of rudimentary wings on its back. Cthulhu's head is depicted as similar to the entirety of a giant octopus, with an unknown number of tentacles surrounding its supposed mouth. Cthulhu is described as being able to change the shape of its body at will, extending and retracting limbs and tentacles as it sees fit. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu

Joe describes Ovisvelli as "Satan's tennis Partner." He is filled in about Ovisvelli by the Frenchmen, an occukt specialist who lives in Chinatowm. He tells Joe, " Ovisvelli is the star spawned demon god of ancient times ... a destroyer of worlds.

Ovisvelli is a tentacled creature who has an appetite for people and worlds and it wants "in." It is conjured up by members of the Ovisvelli Cult who are desirous of god-dom in an Ovisvelli controlled world. Instead they are quickly dispatched and devoured when their attempted sacrifice of Joe goes horribly awry.

Was Lovecraft and inspiration for this short? What do you think?
