The Red Energy also known as the Red Man Energy is a phenomena mainly observed by paranormal investigators and refers to certain periods of time when people literally “see red” and become “red with anger.”

Unwarranted anger, anxiousness and fear seem to pervade the psyche of normally composed people. It is wide spread and not contained. The percentage numbers of Road Rage, fighting, discontent and disgust reach new heights. Most of the time people cannot even seem to pinpoint why they are enraged. The energy is precipitated by feelings of tension in the atmosphere and followed by mounting feelings of anger that are internalized until they burst forth like an erupting volcano.

So far this phenomenon cannot be delegated to a particular set of astrological circumstances for example, as when people experience   Mercury retrograde and shadow periods. During a  Mercury retrograde,  people are used to communications breaking down and mundane life circumstances running amuck and may or may not prepare for the period or at least make some concessions.  What has been observed however is that the Red Energy proliferates during a Mars retrograde period.

Transiting Mars is retrograde every 24-26 months with a cycle lasting about eleven weeks. When Mars transits in retrograde motion day to day events become filled with effort that often leads nowhere crating personal frustration. It is almost as though an individual has gone into competition with his or her Self. Aggressions are misplaced and experiences are reactive rather than active. The frustrated energy that builds will blow up around the simplest issues. Disruptive situations and old wounds are brought to the surface making things even more uncomfortable. Hastiness leads to accidents of all kinds particularly involving vehicles, machinery and sharp instruments. Burns, cuts and scrapes are common.

The last Mars Rx occurred from January 25, 2012 -April 15, 2012. Think back and try to remember is anything had heightened for you or for hose around you according to the previous description during that time. The next Mars Rx is due in March 2,  2014 - May 22, 2014.

The paranormal Myth of the Red Man is little known and speaks of an invasive energy form that feeds upon anger. The more anger is either internalized or conversely, expressed, the further the red energy spreads. The only way to be rid of the Red Man is to simply control anger and re-route any “antsy” feelings and pent up energy into more productive avenues while riding it all out. The Red Man will invade for generally two weeks to a month unless it is coinciding with a Mars Retrograde. When that happens the effect is not only prolonged and amplified it is sometimes even deadly.
