Daily Theme: THURISAZ is known as the Rune of RECLAMATION. Imagine you are standing at a threshold. Your entire life lies behind you and below you. Crossing the threshold represents a new chapter - a new start in your life. What do you need to do before you cross the threshold? Contemplate all that has brought you to this point in your life. You will see and understand all that needs to be exposed and examined before transformation takes place. This pause requires patience but will be well worth the wait. Once you see everything clearly, bless it all and release it all, then take a step across the threshold. It is a natural progression of mundane life and the growth of spiritual life ... after all - “if we do not learn the lessons of history we are doomed to repeat them.” Today be aware of false people or those who give your false information. They would be operating from the negative side of Thurisaz. It can be duly noted that in the ancient arts, especially dark arts, this Rune represented the demon, the thorn and the War god Thor. It is aggressive energy. Use it wisely. Look for the illumination it can also bring.

Today, crystal practitioners and advocates should work with Star Sapphire (aids in recognition of one's life purpose).

Magia Naturalis (natural magic) is the main work of the Neapolitan scholar Giambattista Della Porta, first published in 1558 in four books and then in 1586 in twenty books. It is the compilation of fantastic phenomena and beliefs he collected during his life and that he has tried to wrest from the divinatory magic by giving them a naturalistic justification or by legitimizing them by classic literary references. The first edition of Magia Naturalis dates from 1558 in Naples (then Antwerp in 1560), while Della Porta was only twenty-three years old. From an early age, with the help of his preceptors, he hunts for surprising, wonderful, and even miraculous facts, to review them in order to tear them away from popular superstition and put them back to their proper place within the natural philosophy. The Magia Naturalis is not a book of magic spells but merely an anthology of natural wonders written at a time when science was still in its infancy.
