Daily Theme: OTHILA is known as the Rune of SEPARATION. It is a time to shed old skins - everything else that is outmoded as well, relationships, situations or any other scenarios. Ask yourself what you are attached to that you need not be attached to. Othila speaks to us on both an earthly plane and the plane of spirit. Othila brings the bounty of the universe to us, but asks that we take appropriate action in order for that to happen. To do that you have to clean up and clean out. New experiences may be coming to you. Although they come to you, you have to remember to reach out and embrace them. Along with the spiritual lessons carried with Othila are the generational issues it represents. It may well be time to “break ranks” with the family’s status quo if it no longer fits who you are. Shake loose old ways of doing things and look at the new innovations out there. Remember: Life is what you make it.

Today, crystal practitioners and advocates should work with Snowflake Obsidian (releases 'wrong thinking, reveals deepest beliefs and shadows, eventually cleansing them with light).

LUNAR ASPECTS FOR RIGHT ACTION: Any confusion will dissipate if you can sustain positive thinking. The reactive mind is flwoing with the rational mind so don't be shy about trying some telepathy today. At the very least keep speech clear. Make a few changes in plans to ease any tension.

There is an old Viking saying: “It is better to stand and fight. If you run, you'll only die tired.” It seems in these times people are having a very hard time coping with life more than usual. For some every day is laced with discord and strife and for most it seems the world is spinning out of control. People are shutting down more and more. Hating one another because of political differences or belief systems runs rampant and it doesn't look as though it will be going away soon. These are the times to remember who you really are and pull yourself up by the bootstraps and without sounding cliche clean your house with a swift broom. Putting yourself in good order is the first step in fighting and not running. There are None Noble Virtues known to the Vikings - people who never gave up or backed down. Applying these to daily life - your life - can help you stand in adverse times. It is time to do the work.
