Daily Theme: EIHWAZ is known as the Rune of DEFENSE. Every now and then, we are tested. When we are, we quickly adopt a natural power to avert defeat and/or blockage. Consider the benefits of delays or obstacles today. Be patient and not overly eager or needy to press forward in order to achieve a particular outcome. Remember, everything in its time. When you step back from situations, your ability to foresee possible consequences prior to certain acts becomes clear and you can avoid negative outcomes. Thinking before acting allows you to anticipate better and make the right decisions. There is a saying, "More than doers, we are deciders" - once a decision has been made the doing becomes effortless. It may be a meaningful day if you can wait. Eihwaz speaks of consolidation and defense. Of being able to capitalize on what you have developed so far, but without immediate payment for the work. Eihwaz carries the lesson that by our own actions we create our tomorrows. The traits of perseverance, tenacity and determination should be brought in to play. Build your future each day with proper application of effort and intellect.
